Fighting Seventh
The Fighting Rangers On War, Politics and Burning Issues
Rudyard Kipling"
“When you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur"
“We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”
“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.” “Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .” “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."

Marine Le Pen
Robert Spencer : The right needs to unite under the umbrella of the candidate who is
most likely to win, or in the case of France, unite behind the most
popular conservative, Marine Le Pen, and reject leftist intimidation. Le
Pen gained significant support despite losing to Macron. She also
surprisingly managed to finish far ahead of Macron in overseas territories, a nightmare for the leftists who routinely brand her “racist.”
In the Caribbean islands of
Guadeloupe and Martinique and in French Guiana, the National Rally
leader scored 69.6%, 60.8% and 60.7% respectively. She also won in the
Indian Ocean constituencies of Mayotte (59.1%) and Réunion (59.5%).
Media tried to put this down to vaccine mandates rather than
opposition to his immigration and other policies. Any reasonable person
knows that it is not racist or “far right” to pursue responsible
immigration policies or to scrutinize Islamic groups with proven
problematic histories. It is rather, prudent — a show of responsibility
and backbone.
The left has embraced madness, yet continues to brand the mainstream,
grassroots right. Activist leftists use the most loathsome terms, such
as “far right,” “racists,” “Islamophobes,” to intimidate and divide the
right, and they have been far too successful.
It is long overdue for the right to unite in the face of the globalist leftist movement and its Great Reset.
“3/4 of Le Pen Supporters For Right-Wing Alliance For Parliament Elections,” by Chris Tomlinson, Breitbart, April 27, 2022:
A majority of supporters of Marine
Le Pen’s National Rally (RN) are in favour of a proposal to form a
united right-wing coalition ahead of June’s French parliamentary
elections.
Around three-quarters of supporters of Le Pen’s National Rally are favourable to a right-wing coalition, according to a poll taken by the firm Ipsos released this week.
The
majority of French people, 57 per cent, are also positive about the
idea of the main parties forming alliances for the June parliamentary
elections, with 93 per cent of the supporters of Eric Zemmour backing
the proposal.
Zemmour, a writer and television pundit turned
French presidential candidate, made his case for an alliance between his
party Reconquest, the RN and other conservative parties ahead of the
election, stating that such a bloc would win more votes than Presiden
Emmanuel Macron’s party. According to Zemmour, a united right
would win as many as 12.54 million votes, while the RN alone would win
just over 8 million and would trail behind President Macron.
A
poll from Harris Interactive estimated that a united right-wing bloc
could pick up as many as 117 to 147 seats in the French Chamber of
Deputies, while the RN would be likely to pick up 75 to 105. In both
scenarios, however, Emmanuel Macron’s party was likely to achieve a
majority.
While many in Zemmour’s Reconquest are for the idea of
an alliance, including Le Pen’s niece Marion Marechal, senior members of
the RN have been very reluctant on the idea or have outright dismissed
it….
