And go to your God like a soldier”

“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Italy: Muslim migrant who should have already been deported stabs two while screaming ‘Allahu akbar’

Italian Police
Jihad Watch : Gianna Tonelli said: “How can it be explained to the garbage man
except by miracle that, while he was working, he was stabbed by someone
who should have been thousands of kilometers away? The commitment of the
police is beyond question, but it clashes with the orientation of the
Interior Ministry. This is why I presented a question to Minister
Lamorgese. Come to the courtroom and explain why that offender is still
in Italy despite the lack of required permissions. The people of
Piacenza and the Italians have the right to sleep peacefully.”
Indeed. Why are the political elites, not just in Italy but all over
the West, working against the well-being of their own people? How has a
traitor class gained power? Italians must take to the ballot box as soon
as possible and sweep them out, and pay no heed to the charges of
“racism” and “bigotry” that will rain down upon them as they do so. “Piacenza, he shouts ‘Allah akhbar’ and attacks two people with a knife:
is arrested,” translated from “Piacenza, grida «Allah akhbar» e
aggredisce due persone col coltello: arrestato,” by Margherita
Montanari, Corriere di Bologna, November 1, 2021 (thanks to Medforth): :
“Allah Akbar”. Two words that in a few moments reopened
the never fully healed wound of the terrorist attacks in the heart of
Europe. It was enough for a 32-year-old man to pronounce them, while
brandishing a knife, to sow panic in the center of Piacenza, during the
night of Halloween, between Sunday, October 31 and Monday, November 1.
The toll is two injured people, a garbage man and a policeman, who
intervened to disarm the attacker. According to investigators, there are
actually no links between the perpetrator of last night’s violence and
terrorist groups.
A garbage man hostage
It all happened in a few minutes, around 2am. From a preliminary
reconstruction of events, the Egyptian citizen emerged from a side
street in Piazza Cavalli, waving a knife and shouting “Allah Akbar,”
while the police were chasing him. To get rid of the police, he
allegedly took hostage a Geocart sweeper, a 53-year-old who was
finishing the night shift with a colleague. The Geocart operator was hit
with the blade in the buttocks and, in an attempt to defend himself,
suffered a hand injury and a cracked rib. Conditions that required his
transfer to hospital, while agents finally managed to neutralize the
attacker. A policeman was also injured during the struggle to disarm the
Egyptian.
No links with terrorist groups
According to agents, it was not a terrorist episode, but the violence
of an individual. The protagonist of the attack is a 32-year-old
Egyptian citizen, a homeless criminal offender. Three days ago, he had
already ended up in handcuffs for violence and resisting arrest, when he
attacked a police car patrol on the outskirts of the city and kicked
several parked cars. The trial was due to take place in the next few
days. In addition, deportation from Italy was pending on him, signed in
recent days by the police commissioner of Piacenza. After the events of
Halloween night, he was arrested on charges of attempted murder and
taken to prison. He will also have to answer for the crime of aggravated
injuries, knife carrying, violence and resistance to a public official.
Hostels: “Be expelled immediately”
The extremism alarm has disappeared, but the episode that took place
in the center of Piacenza has reopened the discussion on safety in the
cities. The reactions of the League, which linked the protagonist of the
events with the reception management policies in Italy, were indignant.
“Whoever escapes from war comes here to work and integrate is our
brother. Whoever wants to spread hatred and violence must find an
impassable wall. My solidarity and that of the League is with all
Piacentines, the police, and the two injured people. Now, without delay,
we ask the Minister of the Interior for a speedy trial and the
immediate deportation of the Egyptian terrorist,” said the Northern
League senator Andrea Ostellari, Lega Emilia commissioner, “The Piacenza
city administration has done a lot for security, with investments in
video surveillance, the ‘Safe Schools’ operation and against fraud
against the elderly. These efforts should not be thwarted: Italians are
asking for work and security.”
Question to the Minister of the Interior
Congressman Gianni Tonelli followed events closely, adding a new
sword of Damocles to the work of Interior Minister Luciana Lamorgese.
“An Egyptian known to the police stabs two people in Piacenza with the
cry of ‘Allah Akbar,’ sows panic in the historic center and waves his
knife. Yet he was supposed to be deported for some time, as he was a
criminal and homeless,” writes the Congressman in a note. “How can it be
explained to the garbage man except by miracle that, while he was
working, he was stabbed by someone who should have been thousands of
kilometers away? The commitment of the police is beyond question, but it
clashes with the orientation of the Interior Ministry. This is why I
presented a question to Minister Lamorgese. Come to the courtroom and
explain why that offender is still in Italy despite the lack of required
permissions.
The people of Piacenza and the Italians have the right to
sleep peacefully.”
