The liberal media houses who had been crying
themselves hoarse and secular politicians who have been shedding tears
over Internet restrictions in the valley have buried their heads in the
sand as jihadis slaughter non-Muslims in Kashmir.
The principal of Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Idgah Satinder Kaur, and another teacher, Deepak Chand, were shot
inside the school on Thursday, October 7. The attack took place after
two armed terrorists barged into the principal’s office, where a group
of teachers were holding a meeting. The terrorists reportedly lined up
all the teachers and asked them to produce their identity cards. Their
mobile phones were also checked by the terrorists in order to ascertain
their identities. Reports also suggest that the terrorists interrogated
the teachers, segregated them on the basis of their religion, let the
Muslim teachers go, and opened fire at the two non-Muslim teachers at
point-blank range. So much for the phony notion that “terrorism has no
religion.”
The deceased school principal was a woman from the Sikh community,
while the slain teacher, Deepak Chand, was a Hindu Kashmiri Pundit.
Though they were rushed to the SKIMS hospital in Soura, they were
pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. Security forces immediately
headed for the school, but the jihad terrorists had by then fled the
scene of the crime.
In his statement to the media, Jammu and Kashmir Director General of
Police Dilbag Singh said, “These recent incidents of targeting civilians
are to create an atmosphere of fear, communal disharmony here. This is a
conspiracy to target the local ethos and values and defame local
Kashmiri Muslims.”
Satinder Kaur, news reports suggest, was a humble woman who routinely
gave away half of her monthly salary in charity for underprivileged
children. She had also adopted a Muslim girl child and gave 15,000
rupees to a Muslim family that was caring for her. Despite showing such
humanity towards Muslims, Kaur couldn’t escape being targeted and
slaughtered by Islamic jihadis.
She, however, was not the only one who was murdered by these jihadis
despite showing immense compassion for Muslims. On Tuesday, 68-year-old Makhan Lal Bindroo,
who was a popular and much-loved chemist in the region, was gunned down
by Islamic terrorists at his pharmacy, Bindroo Medicate, in Srinagar,
Kashmir. Bindroo was among the few Kashmiri Pundits who had refused to
flee Kashmir during the ethnic cleansing of the Hindus in the 1990s.
Along with his wife, he grew his business in the valley and raised his
daughter to befriend and love Muslims. He was also known for his charity
and honesty.
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha tweeted:
“Deeply anguished to hear about the terror attack on Shri Makhan Lal
Bindroo, owner of Bindroo Medicate. I strongly condemn this cowardly
act. My deepest condolences to the bereaved family. Perpetrators of this
heinous act will be brought to justice very soon.”
Another innocent civilian who was also killed in a similar fashion
has been identified as Virendra Paswan. Paswan, a street vendor, was a
native of Bihar who was residing in Alamgari Bazar Zadibal and earned
his livelihood by selling fast food in the Hawal area of Srinagar.
It is worth noting that the Hindus and Sikhs are a minority in the
Muslim-dominated union territory, yet there has not been any hue and cry
or marches against these killings in the valley. Kashmir, a land that
witnesses hundreds of thousands of Muslims paying respects to the dead
bodies of Islamic jihadis who have been executed by the armed forces,
heard not a single cry in protest for the massacred non-Muslim
civilians. This harrowing indifference towards the deaths of four
law-abiding citizens is the actual and unfiltered image of the
much-touted “secularism” about which advocates of multiculturalism wax
eloquent.
A dreadful reminder of the Hindu genocide and exodus of the late
1980s and 1990s, these cold-blooded killings should have triggered a
massive uproar worldwide, but the deafening silence maintained by world
leaders and global organizations that act as the flag-bearers of peace
and tolerance is excruciating and disgraceful.
Journalists and “influencers” outside India who have lately started
to talk at length about India’s internal issues and
parliament-corroborated policies such as the Citizenship Amendment Act
or the Farmer’s Bill Act have deliberately chosen not to address these
terror attack. “Blue-tick” propagandists who have been promoting
anti-Hindu campaigns on left-leaning social media platforms and have
shown great concern for the Sikhs in India have also opted to avoid
condemning the killing of the Sikh teacher, lest it showed Muslims in a
negative light.
The end goal of all such preposterous “humanitarians,”
after all, is to protect the Muslim mobs and shove their endless
barbarity under the rug of false narratives.
