We found it incongruous that in a country where a Muslim preacher,
supported by politicians and industrialists, openly holds congregations
to convert non-Muslims to Islam, Muslims are being lynched on the
streets, and that, too, with impunity. But we believe in giving a fair
chance to all claims and so did some research, and this is what we
found.
In 2017, a Muslim man, Pehlu Khan, was attacked under the suspicion
of cow theft, and succumbed to his injuries. The incident got immediate
judicial attention; the accused were detained by the police and
then-Home Minister Rajnath Singh assured justice. Crimes cannot be
obliterated from a country of over 1.3 billion. But to contend that the
crime against the Muslim was committed with impunity is a shameless
stretch of the truth in order to claim eternal victimhood.
This is the dear and treasured victimhood status that many Muslims
have been unremittingly exploiting throughout Narendra Modi’s tenure as
Prime Minister. Nurturing their deep-seated hatred for Hindus, they have
now prefixed their favorite hyperbolic claim, “lynched for being a
Muslim” with “forced to chant Jai Shree Ram,” in order to satiate their
occasional cravings for affronting Hindu sentiments.
We have previously detailed
how, earlier this month, the Muslim intelligentsia, comprising Muslim
media personalities, politicians and political influencers, distorted
the Muslim-on-Muslim violence in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad into an
assault on a Muslim by Hindu extremists. This venomous cabal has
mastered the art of coming up with false and deceptive claims of “hate
crimes” every time a Muslim is victimized, regardless of the faith of
his offender or the cause of the attack. Hinduphobic media houses and
assorted websites have repeatedly latched onto such stories, ensuring
they reach every corner of the world, but have done nothing to negate
the impact of the misinformation after investigations revealed these to
be warped narratives and that no hate crime was involved.
Thief dies of cardiac arrest in police custody, Hindus blamed
Back in June 2019, Tabrez Ansari, a 22-year-old thief from the Muslim
community, was caught by the locals of Dhatkidih village in Jharkhand
when he was out engaging in his “business.” He was tied up by the
villagers and beaten before being handed over to the police alive.
Ansari confessed to the police that he had indeed scaled up walls of the
village houses in order to steal what he could. The police provided him
with first aid, took him for a medical check-up, and submitted reports
at the court. Tabrez Ansari was then taken to jail and spent three days
in custody before succumbing to cardiac arrest. While Islamic apologists
accused Hindus of causing Ansari to suffer a brain hemorrhage, the
autopsy confirmed that the reason for his death was cardiac arrest, and
that the hemorrhage was not fatal. Pro-Muslim woke activists may assert
that it was a stress-induced heart attack, but that stress was not
gratuitously inflicted; one must not embark upon adventurous career
choices that land one in prison.
While Tabrez Ansari did not die of lynching, his father did.
Back in November 2004, when the secular and Muslim-pandering Congress
Party was governing India, Tabrez’s father Maskoor Ansari was caught by a
crowd in Bagbera, Jharkhand while allegedly committing theft, and
lynched to death. There is no justification for illegal activity or
vigilantism. Also, however, the villagers had not been exposed to
modern-day wokeism. They didn’t realize that if they didn’t ceremonially
offer tea and midnight snacks to robbers belonging to a certain group
when they caught one in their backyard, it would be a “hate crime.”
Muslim youth self-immolates, Hindus accused of murder
Also in 2019, a 17-year-old, Khalid Ansari from Chandauli, Uttar
Pradesh, succumbed to burn injuries. The known peddlers of fake news
published conspiracy theories suggesting that the Muslim youth was set
ablaze for refusing to chant “Jai Shree Ram.” Multiple CCTV cameras in
the area were examined by police, and none produced any footage of him
being chased or indicating that he had been murdered. On the contrary, a
newspaper vendor informed the police that he had witnessed the youth
setting himself on fire at 4:25 AM.
Godhara hate crime hoax
In August 2019, Godhara resident Siddiq Abdul Salam complained at the
local police station that six unknown miscreants had assaulted his
17-year-old son and forced him to chant “Jai Shree Ram.” The media had a
field day with the story, but the police soon accessed the available
CCTV footage from the site and confirmed that the clash had nothing to do with any religious slogans.
Sheikh Aamer filed false complaint to get social media applause
In retaliation for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s landslide
2019 victory, fake hate crime stories filled media headlines that year.
Shiekh Aamer of Aurangabad, Maharashtra in July 2019 fabricated a story
of being forced to chant “Jai Shree Ram” by four men. It turned out that
Sheikh Aamer and his friend Shaikh Nasir had brushed past a car in
traffic, leading to a brawl between the parties. They then filed a
police complaint that gave the roadside altercation a communal twist.
When the police began investigating, a nervous Aamer admitted that the
scuffle had no communal aspect. He had filed the false complaint to teach a lesson to those who challenge people from his community, and to win a grand ovation from his people.
Political murder given communal angle in Haryana
Earlier this year, a Muslim youth, Asif Khan, was murdered while
returning from his sister’s home in Mewat. The news of the attack
included the popular “forced to chant Jai Shree Ram” claim, and was
ritualistically labelled a hate crime by Muslim-friendly Indian media
outlets. Police, following due investigation, declared the crime to be a
political murder, and ruled out a communal angle.
Asif led a caste-based group that had beaten up members of a rival
caste-based group a few days before the murder. He was ambushed and
killed in a reprisal triggered by the violence that his group initiated.
There are scores of such cases that have no communal aspect or
intention, but have been attributed to the Hindus anyway. This is
because the victims were Muslims, and this presented an opportunity to
the pro-Muslim lobby to communalize their deaths, so as to advance their
political agenda.
Consequently, keyboard warriors of the Twitterverse
make their empty claim that
