Rudyard Kipling"
“When you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur"
“We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”
“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.” “Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .” “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Fatah top dog: Palestinian Authority leadership wanted and called for Tel Aviv jihad murders
Friday, April 22, 2022
Robert Spencer : A senior Fatah leader explained
that the recent murder of civilians in Tel Aviv was precisely what the
PA leadership wanted and had called for. He said that when Ra’ad Hazem
murdered 3 in Tel Aviv and another terrorist, Ahmed Al-Sa’adi, shot at
Israeli soldiers, they “implemented” plans and “decisions” made by the
PLO, Fatah, and “the Palestinian leadership.”
This admission by Central Committee member and Commissioner for Arab and China Relations Abbas Zaki goes even beyond the glorification of the attack by different PLO factions, including Abbas’ Fatah Movement immediately after the attack. Palestinian Media Watch reported at the time that Abbas’ forced condemnation was insincere. Zaki’s statement reconfirms PMW’s report.
In
addition to the admission of responsibility for calling for terror by
the Fatah leader at an event in Jenin to honor terrorists, the moderator
praised the murderer from Tel Aviv as “the heroic Martyrdom-seeker
Ra’ad Fathi Zidan Hazem, who shook Tel Aviv.” Zaki then praised
terrorist Al-Sa’adi as “the heroic Martyr” and Ra’ad Hazem, who murdered
the 3 civilians, as “true thunder, a legend, and a man worth 1,000
men,” who “imposed fear inside Israel.”
Zaki explained that their
attacks were “the clearest way” to “implement” decisions made by Fatah
and the PA leadership on a meeting on Feb. 7, 2022. PMW has shown that
in meetings that day, the PA leadership called for more “popular resistance” – a PA euphemism for terror attacks like shootings, stabbings, and car rammings:
“The main topic of the [PLO] Central Council meeting yesterday was popular resistance. All the sessions, meetings, and conferences, whether of the Fatah Movement or of the other factions, and also His Honor President [Abbas called] in all his speeches to initiate popular resistance.”
[Official PA TV, Feb. 8, 2022]
Clearly,
senior Fatah official Zaki was referring to these meetings and the
“decisions” made there or at others like them, when he stated that the
murder of 3 Israelis were the “implementation” and “translation” of the
leadership’s decisions:
“You, the people of Jenin, are in
practice, in the clearest way, implementing the [Fatah] Central
Committee’s decisions and the Palestinian people’s consensus on Feb. 7
[2022] about cutting off the ties with Israel, cancelling the
recognition of Israel, pursuing the settlers, and about standing proudly
to let the world hear that the Palestinian will not surrender or kneel,
and the people of Jenin are translating the Palestinian leadership’s
decisions [into action].”
