Jihad Watch : Muslims in France reportedly “fear that anti-Islamic rhetoric has now
been normalised in France by far-right candidates such as Eric Zemmour
and Marine Le Pen of the National Rally, with some Muslims saying they
now live under ‘permanent suspicion.'” This is what they call
anti-Islam:
“Eric Zemmour told France Inter
Radio: ‘French people who are Muslims must live in the French way and
not consider that sharia law is superior to the laws of the republic.'”
He’s absolutely correct.
Discrimination against anyone’s creed or race should not be
tolerated. However, it is a habit for far too many Muslims to scream
discrimination (“Islamophobia”) whenever the abusive aspects to their
religion are questioned or even just noted, but they remain silent while
some of their coreligionists terrorize Western societies.
[Remember] when your Lord inspired
to the angels, “I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I
will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike
[them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip.” (Quran
8:12)
Meanwhile, the trial has begun for four jihadists who beheaded a French priest, 85-year-old Father Jacques Hamel, in his own church, and left a nun fighting for her life. The main attacker actually worked at
a French airport as a baggage handler three months prior “and got
through police checks ‘easily’ to secure the job.” The men filmed
themselves while screaming Allahu akbar.
A Muslim also beheaded French teacher Samuel Paty in the street because he showed Muhammed cartoons to his class. The response from the Muslim world was outrage, not over the beheading, but because Paty insulted Islam.
France has also experienced the Charlie Hebdo massacre and other significant problems with national security, as well as violent Islamic antisemitism and other issues correlated to unvetted mass Muslim migration.
Rather than collectively condemn and renounce all aspects of the
Sharia that do not align with Western values, beginning with attacks on
the freedom of speech and including the full coverings for women which
are intended to keep women as inferiors (Quran 24:31, 33:59), all too
many Muslims successfully manipulate the woke media into presenting
Muslims as perpetual victims, while ignoring the true victims of Islamic
supremacist abuse. France has been shaken to the core by the most
gruesome attacks and threats to civil society for offending Islam, all
while the MailOnline article below highlights the so-called plight of
Muslims. Muslims in France and elsewhere in the West need to
collectively step up and renounce human rights abuses that are
sanctioned by the Sharia. See HERE for what France has endured.
Issues such as responsible immigration policy, national security, the
rule of law and the preservation of French culture should be top
priority in the elections, which begin on April 10. If none of the
candidates win a majority of the vote in the first round, a runoff is
scheduled between the top two candidates on April 24.
Western society, and especially Western leaders, need to stop being
intimidated by mainstream Muslim lobbies that are actively trying to
subjugate the West by systematically attacking its cornerstone: the
freedom of expression. They wield the “Islamophobia” victimhood club in
order to do this. Let’s hope a sensible and responsible French leader
emerges from the upcoming election.
“‘France spits on my family’: French Muslims’ fury as politicians
focus on Islam, with one town described as ‘Afghanistan two hours from
Paris’… after reporter writing about Sharia was forced to go into
hiding,” by Rachael Bunyan, MailOnline, February 9, 2022:
French Muslims have spoken of
their fury as politicians have focused on Islam during the presidential
election campaign, with one far-right candidate describing a town as ‘Afghanistan two hours from Paris’.
They fear that anti-Islamic rhetoric has now been normalised in France by
far-right candidates such as Eric Zemmour and Marine Le Pen of the
National Rally, with some Muslims saying they now live under ‘permanent
suspicion’.
‘I have the impression that today’s France spits on
my parents, who fought to liberate it, on my parents who come to build
its roads, and on me, who has respected all of the rules of democracy
and integration,’ said Khadija, 38, a social worker in the Loiret region
in central France.
The anger at anti-Muslim rhetoric in France
comes after Zemmour caused a fresh outcry on Monday by describing the
town of Roubaix in northern France as ‘Afghanistan two hours from
Paris’.
Zemmour, who has twice been convicted of hate crimes for
statements about Islam, told France Inter Radio: ‘French people who are
Muslims must live in the French way and not consider that sharia law is
superior to the laws of the republic.’
He made the comments after a
French journalist who fronted a documentary about the rise of radical
Islam in Roubaix was given police protection after receiving death
threats over her investigation.
Ophélie Meunier, 34, revealed
Sharia-compliant faceless children’s toys being on sale in the town, as
well as restaurant booths to ‘shield’ women from the male gaze.
For
Muslims, who make up almost nine per cent of the country’s mainland
population, they have been made uneasy over the bursts of rhetoric
against them during the presidential election campaign.
‘Sometimes
I tell myself that no one can understand quite how violent this is,’
said Fatma Bouvet de la Maisonneuve, a psychiatrist of Tunisian origin
and author of the book ‘An Arab Woman in France’.
Acknowledging
that people can be tempted to turn in upon themselves, she said:
‘Frankly, sometimes we just want to meet among Arabs to tell each other
how bad things are,’ she said….
‘I feel bad, very bad,’ said Khadija, who asked that her second name be withheld.
‘A
few days ago, my five-year-old daughter told me that she did not like
being Arab,’ she said, complaining of ‘living under permanent suspicion,
no longer knowing what’s behind the baker’s smile, or what people
really think’….
