“When you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur"
“We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”
“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.” “Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .” “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."

Jihad Watch : Celebrate diversity! “Valence: the son shouts ‘Allah Akbar’ during a tribute to Samuel
Paty, the father placed in police custody,” translated from “Valence :
le fils crie “Allah Akbar” lors d’un hommage à Samuel Paty, le père
placé en garde à vue,” by Nathalie De Keyzer, France Bleu, October 19, 2021 (thanks to Medforth):
A 43-year-old Valentinois has been in police custody
since Monday, October 18 in Valence (Drôme), after making threats at his
son’s school. The 11-year-old had just been punished with a warning for
shouting “Allah akbar” during the tribute to Samuel Paty. The father
supported these words.
The case started Friday, October 15 at the Jean-Zay school in the
Polygone district of Valence, in the Drôme, during the tribute to
Professor Samuel Paty beheaded a year earlier by a terrorist. One of the
11-year-old students shouted “Allah akbar” in his classroom. The
teenager would be sanctioned with a warning, the school warned the
father by phone on Friday. The father made his first death threats and
approved his son’s words.
But on Monday morning, the dad did not stop there and came to the
school. He took advantage of the opening of the gate for a third person
and forced his entry into the establishment. Again, he supported his
son’s words and reiterated his threats. He specified that he would
“burn” the establishment. The police were alerted and came to question
the aggressive father.
This 43-year-old man was still in custody on Tuesday morning. A
psychiatric expertise was requested. The Prosecutor’s Office of Valence
also specified that at the father’s home, there were discovered: a
bible, two Salafist books, a nunchaku, a saber, a sword cane, as well as
the sum of 11,500 euros. The father, who presented himself as a
security guard, was known to the police for old facts.
The Minister of National Education condemns, through the Academic Director of Drôme, insists on
the fact that the pupil is only 11 years old and that he has been led to
reflect on his “inappropriate behavior.” He himself offered to
apologize to his teacher and his classmates. This 5th year student will
be subject to disciplinary and educational measures.
But it is the attitude of the father that is condemned by the whole
educational community. “The Minister of National Education asked the
rector of Grenoble to follow this affair with the greatest attention. He
strongly condemns these threats and assures the staff of the
establishment of his full support,” specifies the press release from the
academic director of Drôme. Complaints have been lodged by the victims
and a psychological unit has been set up to support the victims and,
more generally, the students and staff of the establishment who so
request.
As of Tuesday morning, social networks relayed this affair.
